Beautiful wooden, antique furniture, paintings, books and interesting Turkish artefacts, all combine to give this comfortable house, the atmosphere of an intimate, private home. Bedrooms, as you would expect, are tastefully decorated and most have lovely sea views across the bay.
However, the highlight of the Butterfly Hotel has to be its spacious sun terrace and beautiful infinity pool, with their stunning sea views along the peninsula. This is a magical place to sit and relax and soak up the glorious surroundings, or swim and sunbathe, before setting off to explore Bodrum’s narrow streets around the harbour, where lively shops, bars and restaurants jostle together under the shadow of St Peter’s Castle.
The Butterfly is a very special retreat, where all your needs are catered for. Patrick is usually on hand to give advice about exploring the local beaches, sleepy hinterland villages and interesting sites of this richly historic region, as well as arranging private boat trips or advising on the best local restaurants.
