This long-established hotel consists of twenty two individually designed rooms and suites; each has been carefully carved into the tufa rock and is furnished with gorgeous antiques, local handicrafts and pretty hand-embroidered bedspreads and curtains. All bedrooms include Jacuzzi baths or hydro massage showers, mini-bar and tea and coffee making facilities, whilst the larger suites also benefit from a separate living area and an espresso coffee machine.
Despite Cappadocia's rather barren, rocky appearance, the soil in this region is rich and fertile, perfect for growing cereal crops, vegetable oils and fruits, in particular grapes, which produce much of Turkey's delicious wine which guests are welcome to try at the hotel's 'Dionysus Wine Fountain' in the main courtyard.
The lovely indoor restaurant serves a wide variety of local delicacies, but nothing beats relaxing on the terrace of the Sunset Café and enjoying a light meal whilst gazing out to the vast pinnacles and sweeping panorama of this enchanting town.
