After two years of renovation work, the owner Salih has lovingly restored the old mansion creating just seven beautifully furnished rooms and suites, making this intimate hotel a wonderful base to explore Cappadocia.
Each room has been thoughtfully decorated, with soft atmospheric lighting and a perfect combination of soft local stone and traditional richly coloured furnishings. There are also some more modern touches, such as flat screen televisions and state-of-the-art bathrooms.
There are only a handful of restaurants in the village, but for us at Tapestry sleepy Mustafapasa is such a delight due to its relative anonymity - certainly when compared to some of the better known villages in this mystical region. The Perimasali Cave Hotel sits in a privileged location, elegantly perched above the hamlet of Mustafapasa, offering superb views of the pretty carved stone houses of the picturesque village below.
An ideal spot for walkers, the nearby Gomeda Valley is a wonderful place for a gentle ramble, the pretty trail taking you through lush vegetation along a path next to a river, passing many rock carved dwellings and pigeon houses. The Gomeda Valley and Mustafapasa are an unexpected delight for visitors who come to marvel at Cappadocia's bewitching landscape.
