Each of the stylish rooms and suites have been thoughtfully transformed by the Turkish-American architect owners into modern, light and spacious accommodation, each with their own individual style and character, but all with the same breathtaking panoramic views out to sea. It is hard to believe that this building was once an old distillery which produced 'suma' & the unadulterated spirit used to make the famous Turkish tipple, Raki.
Try a traditional hamam in the wellness centre, or one of the many specialised massages on offer, there is even a small fitness room for those feeling active, you could simply stay within the grounds of this charming hotel and enjoy the stunning scenery and hotel facilities. The Kordon restaurant is a popular choice for evening meals serving freshly caught seafood and Mediterranean cuisine, and the lovely Waterfront Terrace restaurant offers lunch and evening meals either indoors or out on the beautiful terrace perched on the edge of the glittering Bosphorus.
The picturesque village of Cengelkoy on the lesser known Asian side of the Bosphorus is home to the Sumahan Hotel, as well as some stunning mansions and grand residences dotted along the shores. There are also plenty of wonderful seaside cafés and restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance.
