The largest of the seven Ionian islands, Fiscardo, is totally unspoiled and breathtakingly beautiful. One of approximately 365 villages in Kefalonia, Fiscardo is set in the northern most part of Kefalonia and is a little fishing village with a safe and sheltered harbour.
Surrounded by dense forests and dotted by little coves and beautiful pebble beaches, exploring the island by sea or by land is a joy. A treasure trove of Greek history.
Amongst the few villages that were not destroyed by the great earthquake of 1953, today all of Fiscardo comes under protection by the Greek government and its buildings are under a preservation order. The Venetian rule and their influence on architecture and ambience is evident. The harbour is fringed by Venetian-style houses painted in pastel colours and during the summer, vessels ranging from traditional Kefalonian fishing boats to small motorboats to large yachts are anchored alongside each other, moments away from cafes and tavernas specialising in traditional Greek cuisine.

Fiscardo by night is stunning Adorned with lights, the beautiful buildings, restaurants, cafés and bars spring to life and create a memorable, magical, Mediterranean experience.
