The Emelisse Hotel is a gorgeous addition to the Tsimaras Hotel chain. While it may be a little surprising to see a chain hotel featured in our brochure, it must be said that this is no ordinary chain. The Tsimaras Hotels are privately owned by the Tsimaras family and comprise only three boutique hotels, all of which are beautifully designed and decorated. The Emelisse certainly matches that quality, as the minimalist design is superb and takes the standard of hotels in Fiscardo to a new level.
There are sixty-five luxury rooms, suites and maisonettes. All have airconditioning, satellite television, DVD and CD player, mini bar, safety deposit box, hairdryer, direct dial telephone and internet access. The two-storey maisonettes are a particularly good choice for groups of friends or families, as they have two bedrooms and can accommodate up to six guests comfortably.
As to be expected, the facilities at the Emelisse are excellent, with a poolside bar and open kitchen restaurant, lobby bar, gym, tennis court, mountain bikes, massage and beauty treatments, 24-hour room service and twice-daily housekeeping. In fact, the Emelisse has everything required for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Emblisi beach is within a short walk, as is Fiscardo (a twenty minute walk, or five minute transfer). The waterside location offers superb views along the Kefalonian coastline and out to sea.
