As to be expected from a hotel on the Kas Peninsula, the views from this property are magnificent, directly out to sea and across to the Greek island from which the Meis takes its name. Even the most world-weary traveller would be impressed. The Meis does not rely on the views to attract guests, however, as under the management of the owner Sahin, the Tapestry Collection Guest Feedback has been excellent for location, quality and service.
The hotel climbs down the hillside of the Kas Peninsula. The two buildings which house the rooms come first, with a swimming pool in front of each building (one freshwater, one saltwater). Terraces lead down from here to private beach platforms with steps into the Mediterranean waters.
All the areas of the hotel are spacious and this follows through into the rooms too (so much nicer than is usual for Turkey, they are all described as ‘Deluxe’ or ‘Master Deluxe’). They are large, well decorated and furnished to provide a very comfortable place to stay. In fact, they are almost too nice; as the outside space is so lovely guests tend to spend most of their time on the terraces, by the pools, or in the sea.
