The Dogan is an older property that has been refurbished to a decent standard over the years, so it would be fair to describe it as a simple, comfortable hotel. However, in 2009, Tapestry was given an allocation of rooms that have been upgraded to include redecorated bathrooms and some of the bedroom furniture has been replaced and now includes new wardrobes, tables, in addition a kettle is now in all rooms.
The pool is set to the side of the property in natural gardens which extend around all the rooms and to the beach area. Breakfast and lunch are served in the outdoor restaurant, with lovely views across the Bay of Orhaniye. Dinner is served by the sea, the weekly special lamb night is particularly well received.
An additional benefit to Tapestry guests is the inclusion of a fun lazy day at sea, which with the Dogan family and wonderful hospitality makes this a superb choice for a real Turkish holiday.
