Villa Damla, Kalkan

In a quiet side street just by the top of the Old Town, Villa Damla is a wonderful choice if you like all the privacy of a villa but want to be close to all that Kalkan town has to offer. The villa is run by caretakers Mesut and Ayşe who are happy to prepare breakfast and other meals for guests. The ground floor pool and terrace area is spacious and has great views out towards the bay to the islands. The terrace is enclosed by stone walls and runs off the open-plan kitchen and sitting room, so there’s a good sense of privacy and peace in the light and airy rooms.

The villa décor is modern and fresh, with light tones and glass tables accented by wrought iron furniture details. The central wooden spiral staircase is backed by a glass brick feature wall, allowing light to permeate all through the property. The first and second floors both have twin and double bedrooms with balconies that have views towards the bay and also have en suite facilities.

Villa Damla may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility, as it is accessed via a steeply sloping road, although it does offer easy access to town via a very short walk. The town’s pebble beach and harbour are also only a few minutes away, as are the vast array of restaurants that Kalkan has to offer.

This villa is perfect for guests who want the best of both worlds – music bars and easy access to Kalkan, its bars and restaurants as well as a private pool and sea views. Villa Damla has it all.
