Akinci Evi Villa in the Kaya Valley

When arriving at Akinci Evi, your eye is naturally drawn to the lovely terraced gardens and the large pool.

The property itself is very individual, partly because of the building, with wooden floors and high ceilings, and partly because of the antique furniture in the villa. This was brought from Rhodes in 1923 by the family’s grandmother who moved to Turkey under the same population exchange that led to Kaya being abandoned.

The living/dining room is large, with a kitchenette that is simple but more than adequate for holiday catering, leading onto a beautiful wooden terrace that tends to be used as an al fresco dining room. The double master bedroom is nicely done, while the twin is smaller, but has a high ceiling with a large skylight, making it feel light and airy. Both bedrooms have en suite facilities with shower/wc. One bedroom also has a small dressing room in which a sofa bed can be placed to sleep a further two guests, if required.

The Akinci Evi is a great property built to suit the local environment and perfect for outdoor living.

Prices are per person based on the number of guests occupying the villa and include flights to Dalaman from the UK, airport transfers and car hire. The car will be delivered to the villa the next morning, if the number of guests occupying the villa exceeds the seating capacity of the car, an extra car may be booked at an additional cost.
Flights are available from most UK airports; please refer to our flights page for details and indication of supplements. For any departures that include 26 May, 25 Aug or 27 Oct, please add a supplement of £80 per person.
