Set literally at the foot of the famous ghost village, Ozlem Evi is a simple Turkish stone villa built in keeping with its natural surroundings.
It is built all on one level and as you enter into the hall, leading off this are the two bedrooms to the left, one with en suite facilites. On the right you have a shower/WC, open-plan kitchen and lounge area which leads out onto the large terrace from which you can take in the views of the ghost village, only a stones throw away from where you are sitting.
A path leads down to the good sized pool which gets sun most of the day but there are plenty of places to escape the mid-day sun in the extensive gardens including the Turkish seating or kösk area.
It is only a matter of minutes through the fields if you want to walk to the centre of Kaya. From here there are numerous other paths you can take to wander round the ghost village or Kaya Valley or, for the more adventurous, follow part of the Lycian Way over the mountains for a two and a half hour walk down to the beach at Olü Deniz, taking in the magnificent views as you go. Should you want to venture further afield in the car provided, Gemiler beach is a fifteen minute drive away and Fethiye, twenty minutes.
Slightly off the beaten track, the attraction of this villa is the peace, its surroundings and the views of the ghost village from its terrace and gardens. It's a perfect place to forget about every day hassles and concentrate on relaxing!
