All our captains and crew are focused on ensuring guests enjoy every aspect of their cruise, with the relaxed ambience meaning the crew become more like friends than staff.
It is impossible to capture in words or images the experience of gulet cruising. The appeal lies in the peace and tranquillity, the gorgeous Turkish coastline, the friendly crew, visiting a variety of stops en route and the sheer experience of cruising on the open sea.
While the accommodation on board gulets is noted simplicity, Tapestry Collections’ are, of course, among the best afloat. The cabins are larger than the norm, as is the exterior space. The quality is equally impressive, with comfort being a priority (as much as the onboard conditions allow). Cabins on all our gulets have air-conditioning and full shower cubicles.
With respect to children, we are happy to accept children on our gulets although we would point out that the cabins are all double bedded. We would also point out that guests chose this type of holiday as it is very relaxing and you rarely go into harbour. Some children may find this and the space on board too restrictive, however we accept that as parents you know your own children and if you feel this type of holiday will be suitable then we are more than happy to have you on board.
As important as the vessels themselves is the service. All our captains and crew are focused on ensuring guests enjoy every aspect of their cruise, with a relaxed ambience. The crew consists of the captain, his assistants and the cook, all of whom are usually Turkish, although at least one member of the crew will speak English.
