The Yali is perched on a rocky outcrop of Kalkan Bay with fabulous views of the Old Town, the mountains and across the bay to Kisla, yet it’s only a ten-minute walk from the harbour and its stylish marina.
Seafront rooms give an uninterrupted view of the Mediterranean from their terraces and even those at the rear offer sea views from their private balconies. The décor is simple and pale-coloured, adding to the airy feel of this beachfront hotel. The rooftop room is small, but has a large terrace, perfect for contemplating Mouse and Snake Islands in the distance and for private sunbathing.
Aslan, the owner, and his team manage the Yali and Beach Club. The Yali boasts a breakfast area down by the pool and sundeck, but the Yali’s real treasure is the beach club right in front of the hotel. The Yali Beach Club has swimming platforms with direct access to the blue sea waters, lounge areas with sunbeds and an Ottoman seating area where you can hide away in the shade with the latest novel.
The Yali’s peaceful location and views is a strong draw, but so is its proximity to all the town has to offer. Here you can get away from it all or be out and about soaking up the cosmopolitan charms of Kalkan’s nightlife whenever you like – the difference is a mere 10 minute walk.
